Donate & Support QCC
Our Story
Queen City Clubhouse (QCC) was born from a grant through the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OHMAS). However, prior to QCC being what it's grown into, the place where it now stands was once a beacon in the community, an organization formerly known as the Wellness Center. Due to COVID, the Wellness Center was no longer able to stand on it's own, leaving a lot of individuals displaced with nowhere to go for socialization or support.
Luckily, Chris Pedoto, Executive Director, saw the grant to create a Clubhouse and used it as an opportunity to reinvigorate the space, letting it live up to it's full potential, and that it did. Despite the struggles to sustain QCC, we stood tall. Now, after a good year and a half of fighting the good fight, we see over 40 members every single day. 40 people dedicated and inspired to work on their mental health recovery, learn new skills, and find their community. Our organization is run with the help of Occupational Therapists and Peers, together this provides not only clinical support, but empathy and shared lived experience. There is no hierarchy, everyone has their work-ordered day and we work together to make it all happen. QCC is a place where people can work together, make a difference, and pour back into themselves and others. Your support for our organization can go a long way, it can help us sustain, support, and inspire the community we serve.
